Pre-IGCSE (ages 13-15)

Coursework covers Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.

This course is done over one year and is suitable for students who want to pursue further studies using the Cambridge curriculum but are not quite ready to do their IGCSE yet. Lectures are given once a week for 50 minutes per subject (Physics and Chemistry are done together).

Course prerequisites and workload

Mathematics students must understand the concepts of multiplication, division and fractions.

No prior scientific knowledge is required although it is preferable.

Students are given homework to help familiarize themselves with the information.

Tests and assignments are given that need to be completed at home to evaluate the students’ understanding of the work content.
